Sean Evans - Head Coach
Coach Evans was named Head Coach in 2022 after taking over for legendary Coach Paul Stankewicz. He has been on the coaching staff since 2010. He is currently a special education teacher at Peirce Middle School (WC Henderson feeder) in the WCASD. Prior to becoming a coach at WC Henderson, Coach Evans played Division I lacrosse at Towson University and Saint Joseph’s University. At Saint Joseph’s he was a team captain, 3-year starter on attack and midfield, and led the team in scoring and points during his junior and senior seasons.
Coach Evans graduated from WC Henderson in 2006. He is currently the all-time leader in points (326) and earned All-League Player of Year, All-Area Player of the Year, 1st Team All-League (3x), All-State (2x), and All-American honors. He was selected to play in the US Lacrosse All-American game in St. Louis, MO. In the off-season Coach Evans is a coach for Duke’s Lacrosse Club. Coach Evans lives in West Chester with his wife Courtney and two son’s- Colby and Grayson.
Bob Marks - Assistant Coach
Coach Bob Marks has been on staff since 1997. He's played, coached, and captained at Millersville University Lacrosse from 1988-1995, and he's a Ridley Lacrosse alum.
Ray Beneke - Assistant Coach
Coach Beneke is entering his 9th season as a high school assistant lacrosse coach. Prior to that he spent 10 years as the head lacrosse coach for Downingtown Middle School. Coach Beneke graduated from Muhlenberg College where he was a four year starter and senior year captain for the football team.
He played both football and lacrosse at Fair Lawn High School in Bergen County New Jersey. He was a captain for both sports and lead the team in touchdowns for football and assists for lacrosse his senior year.
